I'm Naimi Nafis, a Computer Science undergraduate at the Kyoto Institute of Technology and a researcher in the Intelligent Software Engineering Lab. My work is focused on leveraging Large Language Models to create more robust and secure software by detecting API misuse.
I thrive on rapidly learning and applying new technologies to solve complex, real-world problems. This hands-on approach is central to how I build and innovate.
To that end, I'm constantly expanding my toolkit, currently focusing on Full-Stack JavaScript and Machine Learning. Here are the primary technologies I work with:
AI Software Engineering Lab (知能ソフトウェア工å¦ç ”究室), Kyoto Institute of Technology
Developing models to trace incorrect API usage patterns (API Misuse), aiming to create tools that can suggest automated code corrections.
Self-Taught via The Odin Project
Learning full-stack development, building and deploying numerous projects using technologies such as JavaScript and Ruby.
Proficient in learning from documentation to independently solve complex problems in both frontend and backend development.
Kyoto Institute of Technology
Core coursework includes Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, and Software Engineering Principles.
A Flutter QR scanner app with custom QR decoration and security features. Built as a kit-isel lab project to showcase Flutter development skills and Git in team practices.
A browser extension for English-Japanese translation, leveraging AI for context-aware translations and language learning tools. (TrackJob Hackathon 5/2025)
A pixel art drawing board called Etch-a-Sketch! Design on a resizable grid with multiple modes and simple controls. (The Odin Project Foundation Path)
I'm always open to discussing new projects, creative ideas, or opportunities to be part of your vision. Feel free to reach out!
